Kona Coffee Plantation Frost

Kona Coffee Plantation Frost

This recipe comes from the Kona coffee cookbook from the Kona Coffee cultural festival.

YIELD3 to 4 servings

A nice treat to enjoy on a hot day! This Cold-brewed coffee is simple to make at home. You just need to add 1 ½ cups of a strong brewed 100% Kona Coffee, we recommend Kona Gold’s Medium Dark Roast for this recipe. Take the coffee and then add 2 cups of Vanilla Ice Cream along with 3 tbsp of Sugar and 1 Banana, cut into chunks. Once you blend it simply pour it into chilled 8 ounce glasses and enjoy.

  • 1 1/2 Cups cold strong brewed Kona Coffee
  • 2 Cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 Banana, cut in chunks
  • Whip Cream (optional)

  • Step 1 In a blender, at high speed, blend coffee, sugar and banana until the mixture is smooth, about 20 seconds.

  • Step 2 Add ice cream, reduce speed to medium, and blend until smooth, for about ten seconds.

  • Step 3 Pour into chilled 8 ounce glasses and enjoy. You can also add whip cream on top to get that frappe feel.
